How to earn BIG money on the Internet?
There is a forum discussion: what is the biggest income source with online entrepreneurs. It takes three minutes to analyze the post and get invaluable information.
I paid attention to the webmasters who make really big money online (from my point of view) - their ID’s are tagged with their monthly revenue: $10-50,000 per month. It is gross revenue, do not mix it with net income.
So, the guys who make the biggest money online deal with:
1. coding
2. design
3. e-commerce/ online stores
4. affiliate sales
It is quite a revelation for me that affiliate marketing does not top the list. In fact, it is in the fourth place.
OK, my next move was to discover how big earners make big money with affiliate marketing. I analyzed only those members who stated that affiliate marketing is their primary income source). Another three minute analysis and I discover that it is a matter of niche you are focused on.
Yes, these guys run websites in different niches. But their major source of income:
- ringtone industry
- financial sector (debts, loans, insurance, etc)
- pharmaceuticals
- etc.
And the money comes from AdSense as well as CPA (cost per action programs) – lead generation primarily. CPA is definitely not dead for these guys.
Summary: What does this short analysis show? Diversify. And not just with various website types and industries, but diversify your entire activity, mix it with some offline projects.
You can earn some money with so-called hobby websites. But if your target is to make big money online than you have to search ways to get into these industries.
I do not state that there are no big earners in other niches. I just have an impression that there are more financially successful webmasters in the above mentioned and similar lucrative industries.
My next step was to research some information on affiliate marketing in the financial and pharmaceutical industries (and I do not doubt that it is very difficult to start with them at this time).
I expected that there would be no many detailed guides on the topic, but I have discovered some recent publications that I am still going to explore.
