How to get a job… with a decent pay
Tired of staying at home and fighting hard to make a few dollars? Probably you should join crowds of job seekers and get a good job that will bring you at least $100,000 or better more. Paul posts you a simple step by step guide that will inevitably secure you a high paying job. I agree that the steps will be useful for your job search, but I am very doubtful they work for the majority of individuals if they hope to get a high paying job relying on the listed techniques. So, Paul’s steps:
Step 1: Choose the right profession
When do you make the choice of profession? When you are 18-20. Or do you change your profession and learn new skills every year? If you are 30 or 40 you are not likely to get a new profession of a lawyer or similar.
Step 2: Get an education and qualifications in your chosen profession
See my comments to Step 1.
Step 3: Choose the right geographic location
Does not work for most people.
Step 4: Polish up your resume
A good and simple step that every person can implement. If only this could result in a $100,000/ year job.
Step 5: Improve your job interviewing technique
This is also achievable.
Step 6: Get an entry-level position in your new profession
I do not think that anyone will hire a new graduate for a chief position. You have no choice but to accept an entry level position.
Step 7: Change jobs and employer
Jobs are not that abundant. People drop jobs only if they are HIGHLY unsatisfied with their current occupation. There are no many people who take the risk to quit the job they like hoping to find a new one with a higher pay.
Step 8: Change jobs and employer again, and again
See my comments to Step 7.
Summary:
I am sorry, my friend, but the recipe of ‘how to get rich’ that Paul posted on his website does not work for 99% persons.
