Businessweek.com published the result of the survey: most wanted companies to work for by undergraduates. The survey covered nearly 40,000 people. The respondents also listed their top priorities while considering what job to take or what job they would like to get. On top, the companies that are known for their employee friendliness. Other priorities include prospects of further education, financial reward and contributing to society (well, it is really nice to see that top priority list includes contributing to society).
There are some big surprises when you browse the list of ‘most wanted places to work’:
for instance, many undergraduates would like to work for CIA and FBI.
Five top ‘most wanted employers’ are:
- Walt Disney,
- Google,
- U.S. Department of State,
- Federal Bureau of Investigation,
- Central Intelligence Agency.
