You have weighed the pros and cons of a home-based business and made up your mind to go for it. Why not? Now you can be your own boss and increase your salary and work away from noisy offices and stop cooperating with the colleagues that you never chose to sit next to.
Sounds great and glorious. No to control and dependence and yes to creative thinking, self-employment and financial independence. Now you can jump out of the office-cubicle perspective and free you mind to the fresh-air ideas that come in a package with responsibility by the way.
As for the initial capital, most home-based jobs require just a little financing, mainly to be spent on equipment and materials. You can use the funds that you have on your credit card, or borrow some money from your friends and relatives, or you can take a loan. Suppose you do not have access to any of the above options, then you can sell something that you have. A yacht would be enough, I presume. Just kidding.
And beware not to sell the goods and gadgets that you will probably need for your home-based venture: you will still need a PC if you are going to offer tutoring services online.
Among the jobs to do are various services, including accounting, freelance writing or translating, tutoring, wedding planning, care giving, catering, event planning, etc.
When choosing an activity that will bring you some cash to live on, you would better bear in mind that the job should be something that you like doing. A well-done job is the best advertisement that travels at a speed of light by the word of mouth. And a well-done job can have a permanent quality only if it is loved.
Among the recently appeared home-based jobs are pet walking or housing sitting, the two that require no special skills whatsoever, just time and patience.
