Web 2.0: Next Net 25
I have written about Web 2.0 progressing fast in the online business: nobody is ceratin if it is a buzzword for a couple of years, or long term trend. Business 2.0 has published a list of 25 companies that are the face of the next generation Internet.
Well, if you look through the list you will agree that these services are popular on the Net nowadays. Will they be popular tomorrow? It is hard to say, we all remember the Internet bubble blown up a few years back. We also see some ‘old’ Internet companies (i.e. Yahoo! and Google) on the list:
www.digg.com – technology social website
www.last.fm – new approach to music
www.newsvine.com – social website
www.tagworld.com – social website
www.youtube.com – videos
www.yahoo.com – search engine and internet portal
www.google.com – search engine
www.bloglines.com – news aggregator
www.simplyhired.com – job site. I have reviewed it here: it might be useful for your search of freelance job.

Well, in fact those who work in the Internet are familiar with most of the mentioned companies and services: I agree that they add value to its users, they are free and fun to work with. So, probably, they are all lasting.
