Help wanted: telecommute jobs
What are the most popular telecommuting jobs (which means the ones that can be done by an individual working from home for a company or firm)? In the previous post I started reviewing the most clicked-on telecommuting jobs site www.tjob.com. Now to be continued.
If you go to Telecommuting Job Opportunities, you will find nine categories with Other Skills and Freelance Projects among them. The list also includes the following:
- artists, desktop publishers and photographers;
- data entry, transcription;
- engineers;
- programmers, IT;
- sales;
- web designers;
- writers.
You can further your search by going to one of these categories. I have tried that: clicked on Sales and selected Assistant Recruiter, which is an actual job offer advertising vacancies for full- and part-time online recruiters. It is a home- and commission-based work for those still able to think outside the box (meaning the office cubicle really).
The mission of assistant recruiters is to find resumes online and screen them for recruiter. The assistant is paid on the basis of successful placements. However, the name of the employer is not specified and if you click on Apply for this Job at the end of the ad, you will be led to an already familiar page that offers you to pay $15 for a special password, without which you will not be able to move on.
But still there are numerous jobs postings here and maybe you can find the one that fits you most. In Sales you can also come across such vacancies as sales directors, a N.C. account executive, independent outside sales rep, online advertising sales and others.
Artists, Desktop Publishers and Photographers feature graphic/web designer offers, photographers, a lead concept artist, those well-versed in color web design, etc. Two of the entries are marked as Hired, which probably denotes that someone has already started chronicling one’s travels (travel writer needed) and procured a good picture for a book cover (picture needed for book cover).
If you are interested in getting a telecommuting job, you can go to www.tjobs.com and find out more.
